Taps Oan in Bittles
/The patrons of Bittles Bar in Belfast have been working their way through kegs of our beer and couldn't agree on their favourite. Clearly, the only way to decide was to have more than one on at a time so they could be compared. And so, on Thursday 22nd March, from mid-day, five taps will be dedicated to our beers.
Zostera, our new black IPA, has a strong blackberry aroma, followed by muted roast flavours from the single dark grain, leading into a slightly spicy bitter finish.
East the Beast, our beloved and feared IPA, is no relation to the recent storm.
Shore, our collaborative stout with Dead End Brew Machine, MashDown, using locally sourced Dulse from the North Coast of Ireland and malt smoked by Ballycastle based North Coast Smokehouse.
Three Triangles, a raucous IPA in collaboration with And So I Watch You From Afar, seemed appropriate for the distinctively angled building.
Oonagh's Secret, our new kettle sour, will be revealed for the first time.
Beside the Jaffe Memorial Fountain near Belfast's Victoria Square, Bittles is a great old Victorian bar, with an incredible selection of Irish beer, cider and whiskeys, and a distinctive decor.
Our head brewer, Laurie Davies, will be along after 5:30 to discuss the beers, and settle the discussion, at least until our next release…
