Kveik Pale Ale

4.8% ABV

This beer will have its profits ring fenced by us so we can help out groups, individuals, or projects etc. in the North Coast community. The idea has been mooted amongst us over the years but we were recently encouraged to do it by the community's generous response to a local family suffering a serious house fire.

A special element of this beer is the use of artwork by local artist, Sarah Mackay who was commissioned to create the stunning original painting that adorns the labels. We really like the colourful vibe on the can.

This was brewed using a Kveik yeast strain, which is a yeast that originated from Norwegian farmhouse brewing and has been passed down over generations. Dry hopped with Azacca and BRU-1 this gives the finished beer subtle fruity notes of orange, pineapple and citrus, and is a nice easy drinking hoppy pale.
