In the last year we've gone through many changes, most fundamentally becoming a public-facing business with our taproom licence. We've recently got an entertainment licence as well. Not only this but we've moved into the growing kombucha market.

This means we will be hiring again in the not-so-distant future. We'd like to have a pool of interested people to approach when that time comes.

The type of work we do at Lacada is myriad. There's the production of beer itself which involves long shifts of moving malt and thousands of litres around physically, altering the temperature, working with gas. There's the packaging of that beer into cans and kegs. There's a whole version of that process for kombucha. There are deliveries to be made.

The taproom needs run every weekend, which involves being sociable, pouring pints. There are events needing run, social media videos needed created. There are dozens and dozens of relationships we invest in every week.

There's also our website which has an internal brewery management system that we code and expand ourselves.
